right not sure how detailed this will be because im still half asleep but thought id have a go at this now.

wicked night!

me, bex and dan were in london all day shopping so by the time of the gig our legs were killing! we went to pick up our tickets around 6.30 and then went to stand by our entrance door where we saw sarah. once inside me and bex went to defrizz the hair haha and then to the bar.

before cazs act another band was on called erm.... four storey? think thats it. one of the singers was ok but not a huge fan, the bass guy was funny!

caz came on after four storey and she sang:
(we wrote the song names on my phone so we could remember them, some of them weren't introduced so we guessed what the names would be)

crashing down
cowboy
sorry i looked where i did
memory box
im free
carousel
you lied
be together

my fave of the night must be either crashing down or memory box. they were great songs.

she was wearing a red top, blue(i think) jeans, and brown boots. her hair was down and wavy, in the photos she had changed and had a white top on.

in reference to the reports from other gigs, caz looked soooooooo much more relaxed on stage and didnt stop moving around! she used the whole stage and interacted more with the crowd than i have seen at any of the other gigs.
it was great to see caz doing her own songs and people around us seemed to enjoy it aswell they didnt need any cover songs to feel connected. one guy infront of us was bobbing his head through the whole set.

bex saw joy and mick across the other side when they waved to caz so at the interval we went to find their bar to see if we could find them. we found them and chatted for a while until tony christie came on stage, then we said our byes and toodled off to find our seats again.

dan thoroughly enjoyed tonys set haha!

after he had finished we went to find the bar again but no sign of any of the goodies, so we carried on a bit further and found caz. she was with jaz and introduced us all because we hadn't seen jaz at the interval.
we had a couple of photos done so i'll post those up.

mick and joy hope you had fun at your posh hotel! and didnt spend to much from the minibar!

i ended up getting home a bit earlier than i thought so was in by 1.15. train was on time yey, had good luck with them on this trip. and i managed to get a tube on my own!

so all in all a great trip, enjoyed it and was well worth the travelling, would definately do it again. caz was fantastic as usual, and looked so much more confident doing her own thing. and the goodies was great to meet you and have a chat.

#toast# heres to the next gig, which i cant wait for!
oooh the photos

(*edit* I wrote this offline before I'd seen Amy's post, so sorry if I repeat anything that you've said Amy!Thanks for the review and posting the pics!)

I'll try and keep this review short, but what a brilliant show last night!! :-*

It was lovely to see Caz, Joy,Bex, and Dan again, and to finally meet Amy, Mick, Jacqui and other members of the Good family and the members of the band!

There was another support act on before Caz, they were a new boyband, and I thought they sang and interacted with the crowd quite well!

Caz and the band performed a few different songs to the ones they had done on other nights. One of the new songs they had added, and that Caz said they were peforming for the first time, had quite a
funky sound to it!
It usually takes me a few listens to a song to find it catchy, but I found a lot of the songs Caz peformed last night really catchy! The first song they sang was really good, (Not sure if it's the same one they performed first at the other gigs that
a lot of people seemed to have really liked?) Other stand out tracks were "Liar", "I'm Free" and "Memory Box".

Anyway I thought they were excellent, Caz and the band really did gel well together. Caz seemed so much more at ease last night and interacted with the audience more, which was good to see! I'm really looking forward to hearing the album!

I didn't take any photos of the gig as the security people said no-one was allowed to take photos, and seeing as one of the security men was standing right near where I was sitting I didn't want to chance it!

I got one photo with Carolynne and two members of her band (Maki & Alex Sharman) taken at the after party.

Glad you all thoroughly enjoyed the show!!!

Thanks for the wicked review and pics, I was so mad I didn't take my camera to Edinburgh.

I'm even more jealous now haha 8-)

Seriously though, I thought the band gelled well together and the music was fantastic when I saw them at Edinburgh - Bring On The Album!! #band#

Thanks for the reviews. Glad to hear that everyone enjoyed the night and got home safe. Mick and I (with the rest of the goodies) had a really good evening, it was lovely to see you all still supporting Carolynne. At the after party I also enjoyed talking with Paris and Louise, they both look really well. Nice to chat with Sarah and her dad too!

We loved the whole evening!!

Take care everyone!

hey everyone.
I had a fantastic time (well, not for the TC part! - HEADACHE!)
Was really nice to speak to all the goodies properly.
Just trying to think of bits and pieces to add to the reviews.

Amy, - it was 'Sorry I looked WHEN i did'.

Joy said that Caz had to cut 2 songs from the bill,
due to time constaints.
one was 'headache', not sure what the other was.

The lead singer of 4 Storey, was called Big Ben,
he sung with Phats & Small on songs like Turn Around
and also that Lisa Scott Lee song - get it on.
(Bex doesnt believe me that it's him, but it is!)

Caz was AMAZING! - really confident and chatty with the crowd.
he vocal performance was as flawlessly brilliant, as we've come to expect.
- and she looked like a rock chick with her curly hair and leather jacket!

Can't believe Paris and Lou were there!

Well done Caz! (& band)

heya guys,

not a lot else to add i guess apart from oh my god how horrendously awful i look in that pic!

haha ahh well!

was a fantastic set, am absolutely loving 'Memory Box' - i've had it in my head all day!

the new material is fab, a real fresh sort of indescribable funky soul feel to it. wicked lyrics as ever from Miss Good and a quirkiness to the melodies that i think is really catchy!

anyway i'm probably not making sense but i know what i mean at least!

was lovely to meet the rest of 'the Goodies' at long last!

so anyways, lets hope Caz keeps up the good work.........more gigs soon please!

Bex xxx

ps........just noticed i actually look browner than Caz haha! maybe that pic isn't so bad after all!

Hi everyone :-[

Glad to see that you all enjoyed the show (whichever venue you were able to get to)

It would have been nice if Haylz and I could have made it to the Royal Albert Hall gig so that we could have met up with you all again cos it's so long since we seen any of you.

Hopefully there will be more gigs soon which we can all get to.

With regards to Carolynne's new songs and the fact that she is now with a band, I personally think it's a good move for her because the songs were absolutely brilliant and the band seemed to gel really well together. We met the band briefly when we were at Edinburgh too and they seem to be really nice people so yeah I think it's gonna be good for our Caz ;)

Just want to wish you all a merry christmas incase I don't get a chance to get back online to post before then although Haylz is on all the time so I'm sure she will say hi to you all for me.

Speak soon guys

Jon

It's funny coz when 4storey were performing I thought Ben looked familiar!
Yeah Caz's performance was excellent, and she did look very much the rock chick! :)

Albert hall was a good gig, definately one of the better gigs I've been to at that venue, don't know if it had anything to do with the talent... *ahem* but it's more than likely.
